The number of beads varies between 5 and 10 , although 10 are usually used. This slight variation is due to the artisanal manufacturing process, during which it sometimes happens that a bead is accidentally hit.

Crafty Care is a passion project born out of personal experience. At Crafty Care, there are no "perfect" rings —just rings that are hand-smithed in a resource-saving manner.

If you prefer fewer beads, you can gently break one with a hard object like a cup if necessary. This way, you can adjust the number to your personal preference.

Our fidget rings are made of high-quality brass with a particularly thick gold coating. The durability of the gold coating depends, among other things, on wear and tear.

💛 Brass sometimes reacts with moisture, such as sweat, and can cause dark discoloration on the skin. This reaction is completely natural and harmless. The discoloration can be easily washed off with soap and water.

You can carefully seal the inside of the ring with clear nail polish. This will protect the ring and prevent it from coming into contact with moisture, which will prevent discoloration.

💛 The intensive movement of the beads creates mechanical friction, which can wear away the gold plating. Roll the beads gently from top to bottom.

💧 Avoid contact with chemicals and remove your ring beforehand. Perfume, hairspray, detergents, creams, and chlorine can damage the ring's gold plating and the color of the pearls.

💧 Dry your rings thoroughly after exercise or after contact with water, as moisture and sweat can cause the gold color of the ring to change.

1. Observe and note your behavior:

In what situations do you bite your nails or pick at your cuticles? Through self-observation and conscious awareness, you can actively notice when you're picking and remind yourself of concrete strategies to combat the picking.

2. Find an alternative movement:

If you notice yourself picking at your skin or feel the urge to do so, you can make small circular motions with the pads of your thumb and index finger. Alternatively, you can move the beads back and forth. Make sure to use gentle movements. Choose a motion that feels easiest to you.

3. Practice the new movement:

Preferably in the situations described in step 1, and ideally several times a day for 2-3 minutes, for a total of 15 minutes per day. Practice even if it gets better.
